Airport Information Desk and Facilities
Information and Help Desk The staffed visitor information centers provide visitor/airport information; they are located on the baggage claim level of terminals A, B and C and outside US Customs in Terminal D. Multi-lingual special service representatives are also available.
Airport Facilities Money and phone: There are ATMs located throughout the airport; bureaux de change can be found in Terminal D and 24-hour postal facilities are also available. Eating and drinking: Several restaurants and bars are available throughout the airport; there are also a number of fast-food outlets and coffee shops in all terminals. Shopping: The airport offers a wide range of shops. Duty-free shopping can be found in Terminal D. Luggage services: Due to security concerns, lockers are no longer available at the airport. Lost property can be found on the lower level of Terminal A. Trolleys are available at various locations throughout the airport for a small charge. Other facilities: Baby changing facilities are available in the ladies' toilets; there are also shoe shine services in all terminals.
Conference and Business Facilities The Houston Airport Marriott (tel: 281 443 2310 or 800 228 9290 toll free) is situated in the centre of the terminal complex and provides a complimentary underground train service to/from the airport. The hotel offers a business centre with meeting rooms and ample opportunities for business.
Disabled Facilities The airport is equipped with disabled toilets and TDD telephones, available in the terminals. Visually- or hearing-impaired passengers can request assistance or information (tel: 281 233 3000 or TDD tel: 281 230 3089). Car parking spaces for disabled passengers are available in the airport's car parks. White courtesy telephones can be found throughout each terminal for assistance.
